Setup steps

1. Step 1

   Create Meta developer app

   Register at developers.facebook.com and create a Business app with WhatsApp product enabled.

2. Step 2

   Add and verify phone number

   Register a dedicated gym WhatsApp number through the Cloud API console. Complete SMS or voice verification.

3. Step 3

   Generate permanent access token

   Create a system user in Business Manager and generate a long-lived token for your WhatsApp integration.

4. Step 4

   Submit message templates

   Draft renewal and payment templates in Meta's template manager. Wait for approval (usually 24–48 hours).

5. Step 5

   Connect to Trakzfit workflows

   Configure Trakzfit to trigger WhatsApp sends when plans expire or payments go overdue.

6. Step 6

   Monitor delivery metrics

   Review delivery rates weekly. Failed sends often mean outdated phone numbers — update member profiles promptly.
